Laura Segers Fikes

Laura Segers Fikes is a licensed, experienced attorney serving clients throughout Tuscaloosa and West Alabama. Originally from Homewood, Laura first moved to Tuscaloosa in 2001. In 2005, she received a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and English from the University of Alabama, then went on to earn both an MBA and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama in 2009.

Laura graduated from the National Criminal Defense College in 2013 and was accepted as a fellow to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2022. She is a proud member of the Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program, the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Alabama State Bar. She was the 2019–2020 President of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association and is the secretary of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Laura is also active in the Tuscaloosa community, serving on boards including the Tuscaloosa Community Dancers, the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, the PRIDE of Tuscaloosa Executive Board, and Family Counseling Services. When she is not at work, Laura loves spending time with her husband, daughter, cats, and dog.
